The most famous dice game is probably Craps. It is a game where you bet on the outcome of a roll, or a number of rolls, of a pair of dice. If you are playing against friends or family at home, it is known as “Street Craps” and you bet against each other. However, many people also play “Casino Craps”, in which you are playing against a bank (the casino).

The game rose to fame in the United States, but it developed from a European game called Hazard. Craps became hugely popular during World War II, as soldiers used to play it in their barracks, using a blanket as a shooting surface. Following the war, the game remained just as popular and for a while, it was the most played game in Las Vegas. The game has evolved over the years and now there are a number of different bets and payouts on offer in different casinos.

Another popular casino dice game is Sic Bo (which means ‘precious dice’). It is a Chinese game that is played with three dice and in recent years has grown in popularity around the world. As it uses three dice there are many different betting possibilities. However, it is strictly a game of luck, as every roll on the dice results in a win or lose. Thanks to this, it is very easy to learn and you do not need to understand advanced betting strategies in order to have fun.

There are other dice games, many of which are variants of Sic Bo and Craps. For instance, the game Grand Hazard, which is popular in England, is also played with three dice. If you are looking for a simple way to have fun, then just find a few dice and give them a roll.
